“Yeah, we’re moving soon so I have to change schools,” he sighed as he talked to the other classmate. “I’m leaving later this week and we’re going to Canada,” Derek admitted. Normally he was happy and a ray of sunshine, but after hearing the news from his older brother he was bummed out. He liked this school and everyone in it. He knew everyone in class but didn’t always talk to everyone. The class was kinda big but he made sure he was nice to everyone, sending smiles their way when they were passing by.

Seeing a small spider he let it crawl onto his hand. "Hi mr spider. I hope you're having a lovely day," he whispered as it used some thread to lower itself back into the grass. Giggling lightly he waved goodbye to the small arachnid before laying on his back to soak in he sun.

“You left this in my car..”

Waiting for her to wake up he was anxious to meet his only friend, Helena.

Finally receiving the keys to his new home the male couldn’t be more excited.  Derek finally had a home of his own.  He was independent and didn’t live by any of his family members.  To say he was excited was a large understatement.  Putting the last box in the house the moving truck left and he was to his own devises to entertain himself.  “I hope my neighbors are nice,” he thought to himself as he grabbed the box with all of his kitchen supplies and started unpacking.
