Poltergeist: The Legacy...fanfic
I watched the show back in syndication or on Sci-Fi channel (both, I think). But I didn’t remember a lot and just thought of it, and decided to rewatch. Halfway though season two now. I remember bits and pieces (and don’t mind spoilers, if anyone wishes to comment). I remember shipping Derek/Rachel and some Nick/Alex while it seemed like Derek/Alex was more popular. So far, I’m not much of shipper for the show (gets to be more the case with me the older I get - I used to have to ship everyone on a show), but I really enjoy the friendships. I particularly enjoy eps with Kat and the parent/child dynamic between Rachel and Kat.
Anyway, I’m looking for fanfic - tried legacyweb, AO3, and ff.net. I’m interested in first season fic, when Nick was more angry, more contentious with Derek. Or Rachel-centric fic, particularly with a Kat focus or a friendship/support dynamic with Derek or Nick. Or Nick about his dad fic is good, too.
I also vaguely remember a couple of fics (don’t know whether I’d enjoy now) that I wonder if anyone else remembers - one was Nick de-aged to childhood mentally. He didn’t want the fish with eyes for dinner and ate spaghetti prepared for Kat. And that’s almost all I recall. The other was Nick being angry with Derek for not realizing that his father was abusing him (hello, he’s psychic), though I don’t know if Nick was adult or child when angry.
