Her bright blue eyes scanned the crowd, hands down in front of her and fears building inside.  Be polite, be kind and above all else, let them touch you.  Especially children.  Being a domesticated hybrid breed was always tough, and when Burns let you out of your cage for a show, you put on a show.  Gale had seen enough people in her life, people-people of course, and the thought of others like her was unheard of.  Until curiosity got the best of her one day and Burns managed to lure her in with a plastic doll and fake ears.  Such a...bad man.

The soft sounds of pacing. Fairly standard behavior, for a caged animal. Except this was no regular animal. Wild red-orange fur, teeth and claws that could rip a man to shreds. It sounds like the opening to a circus act.

Which is ironic. Because behind the bars is a lion. Well, a lion hybrid, but the difference matters to few and far between. Especially under Burns' roof, where the exotic is sought after and worth a pretty penny.

Never has he been so angry and sad to be 'exotic'.

His name is Jack. He's determined to remember his name and birthday, if nothing else, because he's not going to let them break him. Even if they come in with biting whips and chains, in an attempt to subdue him. He refuses to go down easily, and his roars and growls echo through the halls whenever they try.

Back to the wall, he eyes Kerry sword raised against a pack of Endermen. They're properly cornered, and likely, done for. But if they have any hope of getting out alive, he should probably listen to the younger's advice. Swallowing, he takes a deep breath. Calm.
