A songwriter says I've had my share of ups and downs, yet another songwriter says lord since you're pleased with my sufferings, I am pleased (Ebe omasiri gi n'oga diri m otua, omasirim). Well, if Smith is to sing one of these songs, I'll do the former, while I leave the later for wikipedia to help me explain. Understanding is key! God does not delight in our sufferings and will not just subject you to suffering endlessly. Wonder what would've been the reason for Christ's suffering and death. What was it Christ finished on the cross? What did God see before seeking whom to send from heaven and who will be willing to go? During my stay around here, the world has recorded wars, though I've but heard the rumours of the wars and never witnessed any "never wish to too". I have seen nations standing times and people maintaining their faith in the face of life threatening moments. The greatest oppression is fear of the unknown. It is not given to us to discern the unknown. There is an all knowing God who happens to be our father and the unknown things to us are bare before him. WHY NOW DO WE FEAR?
