When the centipede wasn’t in the mood to beat up Scor and Odea, he often went off by himself to enjoy the beauty of nature. Bathing in carnage was fun, but the sight of the lavender colored hydrangeas, dew-dropped pets was absolutely breath taking. There was something about standing in the midst of the gentle rain, taking in the sight of the flowers that filled his soul with peace.
It was something he’d not really admit to anyone other than his dear Ico. Only she could understand his juxtaposed tastes in such things. Perhaps he would pick a few blossoms and grace her with their beauty as well. Such things were meant to be shared, after all.
Reaching out to cut the flower with his claws, he paused momentarily.
It seemed that he was not the only one that was present. He glanced over his shoulder to see someone walking his way. She looked to be a witch of some kind.
Well, misery did love company, after all.
