@Regrann from @sarah_a_borup - Who coined the phrase "locker room banter" in regards to Trumps degrading conversation? If this is "locker room banter", heaven help our country. I feel we have begun to walk down a path of such disregard and callous attitudes towards morals, women, and sex in general that there's no turning back. Trump's sickening exchange is simultaneously shocking and expected. And yet, as I watched the news coverage last night, seemingly educated, confident women were not only defending, but justifying said behavior. This is how far we have come. How is it OK or justifiable for a presidential candidate of our great country to speak in such a way about a woman, no matter her social status, appearance or profession? This is how we want to have our country represented???? To the world???? It is my deep belief that the leader of any organization, be it a company, family, church congregation, team, or a country, sets the tone of that group. Is this the tone we want? One of no filter, disregard and even contempt for people who he feels are less than him? If so, I want out!!!! I want no part of it. It is shameful and embarrassing.
