Experimenting with denim.
Was actually a wide piece that I pleated and sewed the edges together. Too wide and the structure doesn’t hold, cut it in half and the pleats hold better. Not the best fabric, the elastic in the denim allows for too much movement. Difficult to get the pleats even and straight. The dark colour doesn’t show up the pleats very well. Will try with a lighter colour that isn’t stretch. Also need a better iron, couldn’t get a crisp fold no matter how much I ironed it.
