Everything worsens, year after year, and those responsible ask themselves, as much out of stupidity as hypocrisy: “What’s going on ?!”

Money becomes the only way to avoid, at least partially, the dangers of the racial jungle. As in a mob mentality, the threat does not discourage the individualistic impulses of petty-bourgeois society, but on the contrary reinforces the generalized every-man-for-himself mentality.

Fear and cowardice, the mothers of passivity, are the two sentiments that govern the native masses in France. Nothing is done without some preliminary, petty calculation. Such a society can produce nothing, much less save itself from itself.

The electoral rhetoric aims to appease the French petty bourgeoisie, to dangle before them the hope that they can recover without suffering. That's what they want to hear.

Both are equally useless.
