THOUGHTS:
A quote I find interesting is where Chris believes that animation became shit and that iconic cartoons (ie Simpsons and South Park) have "given up", plus heavily implying that internet animations are far better.
To me, that quote highlights how Chris wants freedom with what he creates and that he's striving for something new (via improving or experimenting). In addition, it seems that Chris prefers seeing something new or fresh, which explains why he prefers internet animations as they’re all made by individual people with different styles of animation, humor, etc. In contrast, shows like South Park and Simpson became too repetitive and stale, and this is most likely what Chris was referring to by “giving up”. Also, there seems to be a hint of “sadness” when Chris brings up that cartoons he once loved have dwindled in quality. I wonder if the deteriorating quality of South Park and Simpsons have pushed him, to strive better with his cartoons, especially with animating.
Another highlight is Chris’ want for freedom. It’s emphasized when he points out that uploading animations onto sites like YouTube or Newgrounds gives people “voices”, instead of working under an animation studio. To an extent, it highlights that Chris wants to be his own boss, he likes to decide what works or doesn’t for his cartoons, and again it ties back to his want for freedom + unlimited creativity. Additionally, gaining numerous fans by promoting his own work certainly helped with Chris’ explaining of “room for more voices”. He’s being known as THE animator for HIS cartoons, in comparison to being just another animator for a cartoon made by an animation studio.
Apologies for the analysis! That one quote he said towards the end really stuck out to me!

He literally outed himself as a “queer”, and yet no one cared
SOURCE
This is why he's not coming out the closet. NO ONE would care or pass it off as a joke. Also, it hurts a little to see Chris be so hard on himself (via calling himself a loser)...the internalized homophobia made him even more insecure of himself :'(
