Elisa x Demona Gargoyles AU brainstorm
Bruh I'm hella rusty at this but I've been stewing over how I could go about the DemonaxElisa redemption/enemies-to-lovers au and I think I have something to work with. I did have something originally but I wanna change it up, SO! This is what I gots so far :>
Immediately following the clash between Demona and Thailog (TLDR: Goliath's evil clone), Elisa is called upon the scene to do some investigating. The gargoyles' battle left the entirety of a defunct amusement part in burning shambles, and as she and her team picks through the wreckage, Elisa can only hope there's no evidence that brings more attention to her nocturnal friends.
As the team wraps up their investigation and head out, Elisa stays behind to wander about, keeping her eyes open for anything unusual. Anything to hint at the fate of Thailog and Demona, mainly. And to her shock, she finds something. Someone.
Hidden away in some remote, unsearched part of the park, lays Demona. It's only the trail of blood that gives away her hiding spot, curled into herself and trembling in her human shape under the sun.
Elisa is initially shocked: she's only received small bits of what occurred before dawn struck from the clan, but she didn't really expect to find Demona, let alone find her like this. She's cursed with immortality, supernatural healing thanks to her connection to MacBeth. Surely these wounds should've healed by now?
But they haven't. They aren't. This is the most broken Elisa has ever seen her foe, crumpled in a pained pitiful heap, barely conscious and bleeding sluggishly into the dirty pavement.
By all accounts? Elisa should just leave her there. Demona's been a direct threat to her life ever since meeting the Gargoyles, a threat to humanity as a whole with her plans to rid the world of humans. For whatever reason her accelerated healing isn't working, and if left alone long enough, she may very well bleed out.
....But.
She stares at Demona, really looks at her, and makes her decision. Against her better judgement, Elisa grabs Demona and slowly, oh so slowly drags her back to her car and takes off to her apartment. She's gonna help her.
And Elisa can only hope that decision won't get herself killed.

TLDR: Elisa finds a wounded Demona bleeding out and decides, against her better judgement, to bring her home and save her.
Still stewing over more ideas for the au but ye! This is what I got so far :)
