So we are getting back on track with everything on the rp, I know things have been a little slow and all over the place but I think its safe to say that on weekends is a slow time for us -which is weird because it’s usually the other way around- So I have sent notices to all our players who are over their activity limit, revamping our affiliates page as well as waiting for the Admins to get on so we can get the new part of the plot underway.  I would also like to remind you all of the tags in place, pleas follow them: demodnote, deprompts and destarter

The ball will be ending today so if you have any para's that you want to get done it would be good for them to written up today. Resistance members remember look out for when the fighting begins, Cause start some chaos, the village of Hogsmeade is defenceless and there for the taking -though Selwyn might not be too happy if you destroy his stop-, Students it’s a ball so go crazy, dance, sing, spike the punch, play tricks on people and mess around with the headless hunt it is Halloween after all.

Last but not least, a lot of you have been saying that you don't really have plots going on or you only have a plot with one person but outside of that nothing really going on. Despite the Cause and Resistance conflict you have to remember that most of these students would have been friends or at least known each other before they left school whether it was just acquaintances having or actual friends so there is no reason that everyone shouldn't be talking to each other.

Cause members you are supposed to be blending in so even if they are traitors, halfbloods or muggleborns it is your job to get information from the other side, we aren't saying that you have to be best pals and start braiding each other’s hair but you are supposed to be spying and putting your best foot forward so no one will suspect your motives. 

Resistance members you have no clue who the Death Eaters are so like the Cause it is your job to suss everyone out bring up topic about muggle rights that would piss off a Death Eater read between the lines, not saying that your character will instantly know but make the effort to know everything about the people who are in the school and ministry to see if they can be trusted, remember the Minister was almost murdered not too long ago it is your job to protect the wizarding world from these people. 

Students you may not be on the outside but even you are in danger, with all the reports in the papers on attacks and the stream of letters coming in from family telling you to be safe and be careful who you are talking to you should be a little scared and keeping your friends close to you, if you have been scouted by the Cause or Resistance find ways that you can help them out, information, practicing magic keeping your ears open for anything that comes your way.

The Cause

Parents cries of outrage coupled with the media sensationalism has provided a ripe environment for panic. The Ministry’s hands are tied, forced to send part of their limited Auror forces to accompany the Hogwarts Express leaving muggle and wizard villages sitting ducks. With attention everywhere else, the opening day of the school year is the perfect opportunity for The Dark Lord to expand his troops. Recent Hogwarts graduates have been monitored these passed months by current Death Eaters, the actions of a select group give them the honor of recruitment to The Cause. Lord Voldemort’s brand is all that is missing from making them true soldiers. The ceremony will be tonight. While The Dark Lord’s bond is great, blood makes it even stronger.

Lord Voldemort’s mission for the recruits, capture a victim and bring them to the circle. Their death will be your brand, the stronger the blood the stronger the bond.

All Death Eater’s presence is required. What veteran soldiers do to welcome the rookies… be creative. Though their untimely death wouldn’t sit to well with The Dark Lord, after all that work. 

The Resistance

It was in a flash of silvery light that patronuses rushed to various Order members reporting the news. Stranded, single Aurors pinned down by Death Eater attacks across Britain. This is what they feared would happen, when the Ministry didn’t trust in Dumbledore’s protection of Hogwarts. Defenses weakened to guard the castle that is the single safe location in all of the wizarding world. The longer you wait the more destruction may happen. Grab a colleague and follow one of the shimmering animals. Merlin give you speed that you reach the source before the spell fades. The children don’t need news of dead loved ones to start off their school year.
