                OBI-WAN  KENOBI,  not  only  were  your  actions  completely  &  utterly  UNJUSTIFIED  but  they  have  brought  in  their  wake  so  much  sorrow  i  cannot  even  comprehend  the  cheek  of  you  to  even  show  your  face  after  such  a  feat  !!  to  put  so  many  people  through  this  unimaginably  amount  of  pain  is  an  act  of  selfishness  no  matter  the  reason  &  you  have  not  even  DIGNIFIED  all  the  people  present  to  that  sham  of  a  funeral  —  people  who  have  SUFFERED  and  who  have  CRIED  because  of  your  oafish  behaviour,  might  i  add  —  with  an  apology  in  person  !!  i  am  absolutely  and  utterly  livid.         i  have  been  proven  ONCE  AGAIN  of  the  council’s  complete  disregard  to  a  sentient  being’s  emotion,  which  truly,  ought  to  not  surprise  me  by  this  point  since  i  have  known  as  such  ever  since  we  met  first,  but  it  shows  the  way  they  use  their  VERY  OWN  PEOPLE  as  live  bait,  sending  them  off  into  the  unimaginable  with  only  the  HOPE  of  them  coming  back  alive  !!  i  am  aware  you  may  not  be  capable  of  COMPREHENDING  the  amount  of  grief  your  actions  have  caused  —  what  with  your  very  own  utterly  toxic  methods  of  coping  with  pain  and  happiness  alike  (  just  release  it  into  the  force  .  .  .  ha  !!  as  if  people  are  mere  DROIDS  to  be  reprogrammed  when  they  misbehave  .  .  .  )  but  i  did  not,  for  one  moment  of  my  life,  think  you  and  your  band  of  merry  froward  and  unable  WORMS  would  go  so  far  as  to  wound  the  people  who  care  for  you  .  .  .  was  i  not  sworn  off  VIOLENCE,  i  would  be  here  this  very  instant,  reminding  every  one  of  you  why  scouring  a  woman  is  a  feat  which  ends  in  BLOODSHED  AND  BRUISE  so  many  a  time,  but  i  am  afraid  touching  any  of  your  lot  would  infect  my  hand.  i  do  not  expect  an  APOLOGY  for  the  hurt  caused,  since  my  expectations  have  been  lowered  considerably,  but  i  shall  await  your  return  amongst  the  LIVING  with  growing  trepidation.

She’s infuriating, and that’s putting it mildly. ( Siri is completely confident that the Duchess does this intentionally just to needle her. ) They disagree on as many things as they agree on, and Satine’s evidently constant desire to monologue is firmly on the ‘disagree’ list. As intelligent and well-spoken as the Duchess is, Siri has neither the patience nor the desire to listen to her speeches. 

( Though in fairness, it’s possible that Siri had only provoked Satine into lengthening her speech when she had given a response of “’Course I’m listening,” when she quite clearly had been paying more attention to her holopad than the words coming out of the Duchess’s pretty mouth. ) 

Beckoning Satine over, Siri waits until she’s near enough, then reaches over and lays a hand against the side of her face, moving in to kiss the Duchess firmly enough to silence her for at least a moment. 

“ I thought we agreed to leave our weapons at the door, ” she murmurs pointedly as she pulls out of the kiss. “ I left my lightsaber over there and everything. ”

“ Words aren’t weapons, Siri, that’s precisely what I’ve been saying-- ”

“ Yours are. ”

“ Then what would you call your kiss? ”

“Keep it Gay” is always playing in a Bluetooth speaker that I carry with me everywhere I go

Trever had no idea what to do with a baby. But he still took Adiri carefully from Chyla. He looked between mother and daughter for a moment, before he focused on the infant. Since he figured that was kind of the point.

^^^^ Retaliatory violence isn't acceptable in the 21st century. Maul killed her to fuck with Obi-Wan, and brutally, violently, and painfully killing women as retaliation against the other is a flavor of sexism I'm not obligated to accept and condone within my fandom. She could have died for Mandalore, for freedom, for pacifism, but instead she was given a badly written death where he was talked about whilst being Force choked and dangled like an ornament. I'm allowed (1)

to have appreciation for the creators of my fandom and also have criticism for them. I appreciate your passion and love for Filoni, but I'm in no way obligated to accept such a sexist and badly written scene at face value and it's my job as a fan to actively participate and hold creators to a higher standard than killing women to burn for a man. I appreciate Satine for having been created, but I do not appreciate Filoni for cheapening what she could have been with a (2)

bad death. One does not have to die to fall. And to reiterate: she could have died in other ways that I would have been much, much happier with. But being violently put on display in front of Obi-Wan for his own self-torture is not one of them.

bella and I haven’t actually written together in forever but you KNOW she’s still one of my favorite people. I went from sending an ask to her in 2015 calling her “broski” to regularly calling her “fucker” on skype. truly a friendship for the ages.

                     you  look  at  her  now,  this  BROKEN  SHARD  of  glass  within  which  you  reflect  yourself  &  know,  instinctively,  that  something  is  WRONG.  it  is  but  a  passing  glance  which  alerts  you  of  such  &  you  reach  out  both  your  hands  to  encompass  one  of  hers,  to  bring  her  closer  to  you  with  a  brisk  tug.
