As part of my glass of liquid testing, modelled a can of Monster Energy drink and put it in a glass as well. The bubbles are created using an HV Emitter and placed into the glass. These are multiple glasses of liquid with different nodes for each. They are different liquids and represent water, milk, orange juice, bubblegum pop and red wine. I did a test with a glass and some liquid. The glass is made with a disc and the use of Weld Average to eliminate the ngons. The glass is created using the Dielectric Node and the liquid is flipped polys on the inside of the glass. The surface is the liquid is separate mesh.
