A belated gift for @yourboyhack !

I've been toying with this idea for...ages, of drawing Delphi as the Pythia, the Oracle of Delphi. (It's the origin of her name, after all.) And I finally came across Priestess of Delphi (1891) by John Collier, and a lovely podcast special by Unexplained Mysteries, and I decided I had to do it.

So here she is! This was done entirely on my phone in CSP!

Or: Why Delphi and Luffy aren't allowed to mind the ship anymore.

She started out as a fire dancer in the East Blue, which is where she met Buggy. As she tells it, she fucked him fought him, and joined his crew, in that order. He watched one of her shows and was absolutely entranced, so he pulled her aside after and asked her to spend the night with him (Y'know, in as much as Buggy asks for anything.) Then, the next morning, he and his crew go on to attack the little port town that she was performing in and she tries to fight him off to defend the town. He knocks her on her ass, but he's impressed, so he invites her to join his crew.

Thanks to her Super Sparrow companion, Berkeley, she becomes a scout for him, chasing down leads on treasures, hunting for new maps, etc. It's a nice gig, and eventually it leads to the two falling in love. But it also means that she's away a good bit, which is exactly what happened when Buggy and the crew were attacked by Luffy and co. in Orange Town.

Later on, in Loguetown, she makes an unexpected friend on the Straw Hat crew (looking at you @yourboyhack). She doesn't meet Luffy that day, but she's given a time and place to meet up on the Grand Line, and she's more than happy to follow up on a lead in that area at that time to meet up with her friends.

The first time she meets Luffy, she punches him in the face for what he did to Buggy in Orange Town (though mostly it was for making her go without her boyfriend for so long). But after that, she becomes a semi-regular visitor. She hangs out with them anytime she can and becomes good friends with them.

They all know she's Buggy's girl. And they still have trouble trusting her because of it - Zoro, Sanji, and Nami especially. But Luffy seems to trust her, and they trust him, so they give her the benefit of the doubt.

Lots of things happen that I may or may not get more into later, but she ends up leaving Buggy after Marineford and joining the Straw Hats after the time skip. (And fully focusing on her relationship with Luffy~)
