What is a Trump Account?
A tax-deferred savings/investment account for children under 18. The government provides an initial $1,000 deposit for eligible kids. Families can contribute too. Money grows in low-cost U.S. stock index funds.
Think of it as a hybrid between a 529 college plan and a Roth IRA – but for every American child.
Who gets the government's $1,000?
✅ U.S. citizens born between Jan 1, 2025 – Dec 31, 2028
✅ Valid Social Security number
✅ Parents/guardians open account & file IRS Form 4547

Gives $250 to ~25 million children
Eligibility: Age 10 or under, born before Jan 1, 2025, living in ZIP codes with median income below $150,000
