This tasty burger recipe is based on Delish's "Anything they can do, you can do better." This burger is a hit with everyone because it has juicy beef patties, melted cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables, and classic toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 burger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded. 1/2 cup tomato, sliced. 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup pickles. 4 tbsp mayonnaise. 2 tbsp ketchup. 2 tbsp yellow mustard.
Instructions: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and pepper. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or longer for your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover the grill to melt the cheese. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill until they are lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun, followed by ketchup and mustard. Place a burger patty with melted cheese on each bun, and then top with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles. Finish assembling the burgers with the top bun, and serve hot.
