🦩REVIEW🦩 Crown of Thornes by Delaney Foster 🦩“Maybe I just needed to let her go, because letting her go would break me but keeping her would destroy us both”🦩 5 dreamy and brilliant stars. Let me just blow you mind first, this book was not planned by the author; she had other stories to tell, but the moment Katie and Sutton’s story came to her, she knew she couldn’t pass it so here I am, telling you how awesome Delaney Foster is. The day Katie’s father died; it shattered the very foundations she had of her life. Four months living in Thornebridge Castle and she wants nothing to do with the family she feels responsible for her father’s death; she’s waiting for the moment she can leave and start fresh. Sutton Thorne, son of the King of Torryn and next in line of the throne knows what is the next step for him, there’s nothing he wants more than to throw away the crown that was molded into his bones, but he cant. He’s been alone his entire life, but one look at her and the pull he feels towards her is more than enough to know that she is his and just like the sheep and the lion, there’s no way she can escape from him. The rawness of the characters is completely refreshing, this story for me is a winner; it gives the vibe of Beauty and Beast, Cinderella, Red Riding Hood in a modern royal romance… the forbidden romance, the villain, the prince and the secrets. Delaney Foster created the mix between this fairy tales and created a beautiful story that deserves the spotlight of the greatest romance books.
