âLearning to fight is essential.â
SHE REMEMBERED HIM when she had come to the Tournament. He was a quiet sort of lion, but Harry had trusted him; Fleur hadnât expected to see much of Neville Longbottom again.
But then wars happen, and she had decided, in choosing to stay in England, that it was her fight as well. But he was still very YOUNG, and Fleur didnât like seeing the steely, determined look on his face.
âI know this,â she replied. âBut learning to fight by fighting is unwise, donât you think?â
âWell, if no oneâs volunteering to teach... what else are we meant to do?â
A few years ago, Neville would have been swooning at the thought of talking to Fleur Delacour. And... alright, a part of him still was. But so much had changed in such a short time. New priorities took precedence. âIâd rather go out fighting than sit here doing nothing. Thereâs too many people doing nothing.â His voice trembled slightly at the admission, but he didnât hesitate with it.
