FAVORITE Â MUSE (S) Â YOUâVE Â WRITTEN : Cade Yeager, Trilogy Optimus Prime, Trilogy Thundercracker, various OCs
GETTING Â TO Â KNOW Â THE Â ACCOUNT :
WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  THIS  MUSE : Just... the lack of love/attention this particular Prime gets. I enjoyed his journey through the entirety of the Unicron Trilogy, seeing him grow as a being, seeing his mindset and beliefs shift based on the universe around him, and just--how versatile of a character he can be, I guess? Heâs been incredibly intimidating, but so satisfying. Plus, I wanted to push myself with my writing. I wasnât putting out the quality that I wanted to on any other blog, so I took on a big, scary, important boy to try and force me to be better. In some ways, it worked. Not totally yet, but Iâll get there. I pray.
WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVORITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE :  I love how he never gives up. Even when you can see him struggling, he tries so desperately to keep going. His world is pulled through a tear in the universe, his people are dying, everything is falling apart--HEâS falling apart--but he gets up, brushes the dirt from his frame, and prays for the strength to keep moving forward. I love that he isnât perfect, and that heâs always trying to improve for both himself and his people. He makes mistakes, and he owns up to them, but he doesnât back down when he KNOWS that heâs right. I wish I had that strength, to just... never budge when the solution is so clear, but the odds are against me. I love how deep his passion is for helping his people and his world move forward. I love his openness when he doesnât have all the answers, when he goes to his friends, when he seeks counsel from Primus, just--heâs so believable as a character thatâs struggling and lost. Trilogy OP is such a wonderful incarnation, and I just want others to see that too.
WHATâS  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING : Mostly my writing partners lmao. It was @mastermegatron that encouraged me to pick up this muse, and with how fantastic her writing, structure, and worldbuilding is, and how deep our plotting goes, I push myself to try and get better and meet that level of wonderful writing. I strive to be as strong in my diction as others who play the more serious incarnations of Optimi are expected to have (and in a few cases VERY MUCH HAVE HOLY POOP), that if I keep going forward, I can be better than what I am now. Maybe someday. But most of all, itâs just being able to throw a character most people ignore into the multiverse and see what sticks. Writing with people who are just starting out and watching them grow as authors is so heart warming and encouraging, and the ideas these different universes and fandoms bring to the table help me discover aspects of my own writing that I would have never discovered otherwise. Tl;dr: itâs the people around me. I love those that I write with now, those that have left, and the ones that havenât even begun to plot with me yet. I just aspire to keep getting better.
FAVORITE Â TYPES Â OF Â THREADS : I love plotting, dude. Plan out a big arcing story with me, especially AU, please. It can start small, but I love worldbuilding, character growth, and just anything that keeps me running back to reply as soon as time allows. Iâve never been good with short threads or throwaway ideas, so I try not to take part. But man, no matter what the subject is, if weâre both pumped, then I never want to let go. As for particular subjects? Exploring new places, pushing boundaries, and just having a goal in mind, no matter how vague.
BIGGEST Â STRUGGLE Â IN Â REGARDS Â TO Â YOUR Â CURRENT Â MUSE : Heâs an Optimus, so people expect quite a bit of quality and sticking to canon. I feel that I canât always live up to those expectations, or even my own. Iâve never written a canon character as big-name as him before, so itâs intimidating to think that one typo or flip-flopped sentence will make me lose any credibility I have. I also fear I wonât be able to do him the justice he deserves, or that Iâm misinterpreting canon and portray him wrong. I ADORE this muse so much, I donât want to mess up. So, the fear of being wrong makes me step back sometimes. And I wish it didnât.
