It had been a turbulent time indeed. The media was up-in-arms, the prestigious U.A. Academy was back paddling, the very foundations of the hero society were shaken. And in the center of this societal disaster stood Shigaraki Tomura, hands covering his form and an invisible grin plastered on his face. This was what he was going for, this had been his aim.
He could feel the uproar, the chaos and the dread that was looming over people now. It made the villain feel like he was finally on the right path; that he had finally found out how to clear this level. Though feeling it from afar wasn’t good enough. He had to take it all in from up-close. Look at it from a first person point of view.
And so he would. With the help of Kurogiri, he made his way to U.A.’s training grounds, wandering there and waiting for students who wanted to hone their skills after his particular attack. He had expected to see a familiar face there, considering his attitude. Lo and behold: The villain had been correct.
“So, Midoriya Izuku. What do you think of this meltdown? Isn’t it wonderful?”
