On the left is the outdoor hotsprings of the Jigokudani Korakukan, and across is the geyser which I'm guessing is the source of the hotsprings in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed every single moment in Shirakawa-go and every moment with snow there was absolutely amazing! This shot was taken when we were wandering about Shirakawa-go village on our last day. You are not allowed to spend more than one night in the village, but you could travel to the other villages around the area. If we had enough time that is what we would've done. This is a shot of one of the gardens at Kiyomizu-dera and behind is a Buddhist temple. The gardens there are lovely. Also they say one of the loveliest gardens is there, that unfortunately we were not able to visit as it has special viewing schedules, it is called the Jojuin garden or moon garden.
