Happy Birthday, De!
I don’t suppose they’ve ever been told That all of us are growing old. It seems to me the thing worth knowing Is to simply try to keep on growing.

A collection of screencaps of De in Steve Canyon. Made a gif that I’ll post tomorrow but my DVD came in today so I decided to take pictures.
Happy Birthday, Jackson Deforest Kelley!
Honestly, to tell the truth, I didn’t have anything prepared for today. The last week or so, access to the computer with Photoshop CS6 has been limited, so I couldn’t make any gifs for today.
But I wanted to celebrate his birthday somehow because he deserves to be remembered, especially how his birthday is being shared with another event I do not want to name.
He made us laugh, he made us cry, he made us smile. He inspired us and was a model of good will and joy. He cared so much and gave to those who needed help and to good causes. He blessed us with his actions and his presence and as Doctor McCoy and he’ll continue to do so for many generations to come.
So here’s a picture of him smiling: what a wondrous sight that could lift spirits and make you feel like your life is not so bad, as long as he was in it.
Happy Birthday, De.
