Nialdreoth - Deionarra (2024)
I just beat Planescape: Torment. Storywise, it was great! The combat could've used some work, though.
My mom, who watched me play, now has the headcanon that Fall-From-Grace is an incarnation of Deionarra. This would lead to a happy ending.
Rather than Deionarra forever clinging to life, pining for a man who never loved her, now it's closer to being a woman who suffered so much in life getting a second chance. Both end up traveling with and falling (no pun intended) for The Nameless One, but where Deionarra falls in love with a cold, calculating man who only pretended to love her, Grace falls for a man who is genuinely trying to do good and may love her back (and either way won't lie about it).
As for Deionarra's ghost, she might find out one day that TNO achieved his goal. With the thing tying her to life being taken care of, she may well pass on, or merge with Grace.
