UH 2013 GDI Degree show catalogue
The task was to design a book for the University of Hertfordshire GDI 2013 degree show, that catalogued all the students work. Having a positive outlook for our future and careers, us as students are only half full yet in our chosen pathways and so ‘Half Full’ became the theme for the magazine. The theme is consistent throughout the book, with only half the pages full of students work, half pages filled with text, and half page numbers placed half way on the page. The chosen colours for the catalogue are also only half of CMYK, which is a vibrant combination of magenta and yellow. As ‘Half Full’ is an oxymoron, elements of more of these phrases can also be seen throughout, such as random order, bigger half, smaller half and many more.
