Even though water protectors were forcibly removed from #NoDAPL camps, there are still other options available for fighting the black snake. DIVEST YOUR MONEY from the banks that are financing pipeline construction such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, etc. Consider moving your money into credit unions and if you're able, please participate in the Native Nations March and Camp on DC March 7th-10th. 2.9.17: Support #NoDAPL Last Stand
Yesterday on ABC News, Donald Trump said he hasn't had a single call from an American complaining about the Dakota Access Pipeline. At the same time, the Army Corps of Engineers canceled an intended environmental study on the pipeline and prepared to greenlight the rest of the project. For the Standing Rock Sioux, this is a matter of life and death, as their tribe's water source risks massive contamination from the pipeline.
Act: Join in solidarity with the #NoDAPL last stand
Make your voice heard by adding your comments to the environmental impact statement for DAPL
Join an anti-DAPL action happening near you, or organize one. Rallying outside of banks that invest in DAPL, participating in the national strike on Friday, 2/17, or organizing a fundraiser for groups that are fighting DAPL are all a good way to help.
Use the White House contact page, White House, Inc., Twitter, or Facebook to tell Donald Trump that YOU are complaining about DAPL
Donate to the Sacred Stone Legal Fund to support the fight against DAPL in court
Move your money: there are 17 banks that are funding DAPL. If you belong to one, check out this guide about how to switch to a better financial institution.
Bonus action: this week, Seattle became the first major city to divest from Wells Fargo, one of the companies bankrolling DAPL. Find out if your city has investments in companies funding DAPL, and start a local campaign to get your city to divest. You can find where your city's investments are through a Google search or by calling your city council person.

Defund DAPL: Seattle Action Coalition
For everyone in Seattle:
Feb 1st, 9:30 am - Defund DAPL Seattle Action Coalition is having a meeting with the Seattle City Council Finance Committee on Council Bill 118883
If passed, this ordinance would essentially end Seattle’s banking relationship with Wells Fargo (a major investor in the DAPL project), which includes deposits valued at approximately 3 billion dollars
