Kuya Aseo and Ate Mai gave me something which made this event very memorable. Just keep on reading (or should I say scrolling if you're tired) and you'll know eventually.

Create.PH

First up, CreatePH! Christian San Jose and Rob Cham were the speakers and Christian started off the talking on how he pursued his dreams. Though lots of ups and downs — dropped college, migrated to the United Sates, and went back to Manila ; he still made his dreams. Shortly after, they showed the team's excellent works and even shared great tips to all aspiring artists.

Jerome Austria

Next up was Jerome Austria, a full-blooded Filipino who had established himself as a pioneer in interactive advertising. Winning over 50 international awards from prestigious competitions including Cannes Lions and the Clios, there's no doubt that he is a freaking genius. His constructive ideas have impressed a lot of peeps especially the two commercials he showed to us: The Bark Side and The Dog Strikes Back. 

JP Cuison

JP Cuison was like the opposite of the two mentioned above — Specializing in traditional art, he makes gig posters whenever he has free time. His style of art can caught your eye in a second. The use of bright colors makes his artworks really lively and exciting. Despite the fact the he spoke in Filipino to make a difference, he still managed to make the crowd laugh and boost their energy. 

Hydro74

This aggressive artist, Joshua Smith, is the first one to talk in the afternoon session. Starting off his talk by throwing various stickers and posters, he then greeted everyone by saying "Hello Manila, I'm Hydro motherf****** 74!". Everyone thought he was using a tablet because of the immense details on his works, but no, he just uses a freaking mouse! A lot of his artworks are greatly inspired by different beliefs and cultures which give them a diverse flavor from one another but still maintaining his style. Many were left in awe after he finished talking.

Psyop

Gerald Ding, the speaker of Psyop, caught the attention of many on his latter talk. At first, it's a little boring but right after showing the genius idea and process behind Coca-Cola Heist and Chinese Pepsi Ad (which I can't find in YouTube), all of us were fired up to learn more. 

Droga5

This creative advertising agency has a great sense of professionalism. Unlike the previous speakers, Sudeep Gohil who was the CEO of Droga5, did a very great job on his talk. Be it on collaboration, doing great ways on your work processes, getting out of your comfort zone and such made a mark in our minds the stuff needed to improve our creative juices. 

GMunk

Last but not the least was Bradley G. Munkowitz! He's an interactive designer and most likely has the same story as CSJ89 — Dropped out in college but still pursued his dreams. While crafting his skills as a web designer, he then entered motion graphics world under the custody of Kyle Cooper at Imaginary Forces. Since then he leads a hard-working creatives making various motion graphics. Also, one of his famous works was the special effects of Tron Legacy. It was that time when the audience were all jaw-dropped because of its awesomeness.

Right after the event, some of the speakers were kind enough to have their autograph on our Graphika Manila book!

Woohoo thank you so much Kuya Rhaf and Ate Mai for the autograph and the freebies! Too bad I don't have a photo with them individually. Haha! (I'm not vain guys)

Also, I wasn't able to see all the tumbloggers (is it the correct term?) but still thankful I met some! Psychofied (whoah, I was so honored), VxV peeps (yay), the 'experts': Lei Melendres, Vivalanat, Daryl Feril, Deftbeat, ASEO, Mai Evangelista and many others; Oliver and Glenn's classmates! 

I will totally not forget this day. Still hoping that the speakers will be able to talk more like the ones in TED! Wooot!
