what in the world was she going on about – karin doesn’t understand and she doesn’t like it when she doesn’t understand. ( if she was a dreamier person , she’d almost say that sakura was hitting on her – but it’s karin and why would someone like sakura – well , like her ? ) no , she must be being played with and karin doesn’t like it one bit. she squints at the rosette from behind brown glasses as if she’s calculating sakura up. as if she can read through her – and it’s irritating that she can’t. ( she can with almost everyone , and she might one day be able to – but she needs to put into time to figuring her out. time to really see what makes her tick , what makes her happy — and what makes her sad. ) her head tilts , crimson locks splaying on her chest , words calculated carefully before she speaks. “ and how do i leave an ache in your chest ? ” does it thrum in pain when she thinks of karin ? does it quicken ? / @defleshing.

there’s a chin placed into an open palm as elbow leans against the desk. a brow raises as she stares , wide - eyes unblinking as she stares at sakura. she’s obviously tired from the dark circles under her eyes , the paleness of her face and karin isn’t a medic like sakura ( she never had that talent. she never had someone to teach her – she’s learned most things on her own , from watching others. ) the question is silly and karin’s half-tempted to tell her that , to tell her that feelings don’t make you sleep  ; that it’s better to sleep so you don’t feel anything – but she doesn’t want to rain on sakura’s parade. “ i’m not so boring that i’ll put you to sleep as soon as you’re with me and you need sleep. ” her voice is kinda rough from lack of sleep but she’s still swamped with paperwork and has no problem staying up. “ stop acting like a child sakura , i’ll be here in the morning. ” / @defleshing.

And then he’s slotting their lips together. Public displays of affection have a way of making others uncomfortable, and Minato is going to utilize this to his advantage where he has the chance to. To stay unnoticed, while whoever was tailing him disappears, so that his cover can stay intact.

Update on the Grey Kangaroo from a few days ago. This is only five days of decomposition later. The conditions in my area have been ideal for decomposition and the maggot mass on these bones is unbelievable. All being well, they should be able to go into degreasing buckets in the next day or so. I am currently waiting for the maggot levels to subside.
