me and maclain were in creative mode building a little village, which was adjacent to our ridiculous floating castle. i'd just finished construction on the winchester house (the newlyweds who'd just moved in) when i decided to take a break and eat and tumble some

instead of signing out of the network, i just walked off into a corner where a red flower was growing, and i fixed my camera on that and walked off

when i came back to minecraft, everything was dark. i could not see anything except for vague block shapes. i'm surprised, but i'm in creative mode so i can just knock the blocks out

only i cant do that. maclain, who is much more minecraft savvy than me, had set me to survival mode and i didnt know how to set it back

so then i figured, okay, whatever he placed here can't take long to break. so i start punching it. and maclain's laughing. and i ask, am i surrounded by obsidian? he laughs harder

i was not surrounded by obsidian. i was surrounded by bedrock. i was entombed in a two by one cave that was completely inescapable. i was completely at the mercy of my brother (and also the minecraft wiki)
