“Was it always like that.... back before you came to Etheria?” Fear. That was one emotion that stuck out from her words as she asked her former boss about the feeling of being connected with Horde Prime. There wasn’t anyone else in the world she could really speak to about this. Of course she could talk with the others who had been controlled but for some reason she doubted they would understand her questions or what she had gone through. Catra had been awake, alive even while connected.

“I don’t give up!” declared Entrapta without animosity. It was as if she were responding to a different conversation altogether, the way she set her jaw and lifted her index finger toward the sky. It was just a knee-jerk reaction, though, and she deflated almost immediately after. WAS she giving up?

No. 

No, there was no GIVING UP when it came to Hordak. Not for Entrapta. 

Thus, Entrapta returned to the drawing board, as it were; she FLOATED around Hordak’s person, double-checking the electrode wires currently affixed to her lab partner’s skull. Back on the ground, in front of the monitor and keyboard, Entrapta allowed herself a sigh. “I don’t give up,” she repeated, reassuring herself. “I WON’T give up it’s just...” she thinks carefully and then continues slowly, “hard that there are such large holes in your memory. What if you never get them back?”

    “ oh ----- hordak!”  the surprise in perfuma’s voice was understandable. she hadn’t expected to be addressed by the former leader of the horde forces in etheria, and to say she was a little uncertain how to feel about it was a... understatement. the horde had done so much damage, had almost destroyed her kingdom, and yet, hordak had defied horde prime --- he’d betrayed him, and turned to good.   that being SAID, she pushed aside what little uncertainties she may had had, and gave him one of her best and most encouraging smiles. 

    his question, hwoever, threw her COMPLETELY for a loop, and she paused for a moment, before fighting back the urge to let out a little giggle. oh -- that was.. sweet.
