oohhhhh I have..... such complicated feelings about Twilight.
I was recommended the Twilight books through a warrior cats forum (yep!) and fell hard and fast for them because I was a teenager and thought vampire/werewolf love triangles were the HEIGHT of romance (who am I kidding they still are) and then the series just EXPLODED and like...
I think the current Twilight fandom here on this site has the right idea in mocking the saga in a way where they seem to be very aware about the (very fair and much needed) criticism Twilight has received & will continue to receive, but also like, in a fond way? like I’ve learned a LOT about how relationships shouldn’t work and Native American culture etc from reading criticism directed towards Twilight but also I was a lonely girl wanting a supernatural creature to whisk me away from reality and damn did the saga deliver on that fantasy (except for whatever the heck happened in Breaking Dawn everything about Bella’s pregnancy scarred the hell out of me guess who doesn’t want kids now because of that!)

You look at this man and tell my you wouldn’t die for him. I freakin love De’s Mccoy okay, like hes my favorite person ever. TOS Bones is just so sweet and suave and slightly antagonistic but in a “I wear my heart on my sleeve so I act like i don’t like you to save myself” kind of way. He’s been through so much and he never gets as much love as Kirk and Spock even though he’s just as important and I just need everyone to give him a hug y’know???
