I Quit My Job
Just a little update on my day job situation... in that I no longer had one. Had to break the news to my editor and creative team, also known as me. They were nervous at first.
In all seriousness though, public servants are having a terrible time right now. The vibes are absolutely rancid. I feel awful for leaving my team but also excited to see what I can manage to do next. While also knowing the world I am trying to become a full time artist in is... not very friendly to my goals.

The CR runs out at the end of March (and honestly, we don't know if Congress will get their act together to actually pass a budget and if they don't, then all feds and contractors will be furloughed). If there's not additional money, how is the federal government going to pay for all these deferred resignations? Where's the money?
