In a sometimes awkward and often painful process... I am learning SO many lessons, growing at lightening speed, and healing deeper than ever. One of the hardest lessons for me right now is trust... I’m working on trusting the process, being present and experiencing the journey. I wanted nothing more than to go to #BurningMan for the sixth time this year, it truly is home. It just wasn’t in the books for me and every ounce of me wanted to tune out that realization, ignore the intuitive feeling that it wasn’t for me this year, I NEEDED to make it happen. Eventually, I let go... I went with the flow and realized I was exactly where I needed to be. The beyond explanation and otherworldly experience that is Burning Man has been such a source of healing for me. The person I become there, the way I trust my intuition, the way I manifest my thoughts, the way I expose my heart and shine as bright and glorious as is imaginable and then some... I have always wanted to hold onto that, but that spark always seems to fizzle in the #defaultworld. I am HERE now, and not home Burning with so many people I adore, because I have work to do. The experience I have every year for a week in the desert is always inside of me, that FREEDOM I emanate when covered in dust is not location specific. As much as I love my desert home... it is time for me to learn how to keep that burn alive on my own. I am rediscovering my magic... this time for keeps. I hope all my dear #Burners, new and old, have a very dusty, fantastic, and safe journey in our desert home!
