I definitely think Jack has a lot of issues going on post-island. I saw a headcanon on ao3 that he developed an0rexia to get back a sense of control after everything which I agree with a lot. I also think it’s very plausible for him to sm0ke to calm down and it can be used as an appetite suppressant.
Sorry if that doesn’t make sense to you guys 😓 I could also be projecting cuz I hate him and I used to struggle with food a lot
