I see people reblog things where a certain user’s response gets cut off quite frequently… But it never happened to me until earlier this week, when it kept wanting to cut off stuff just from *you*, it hasn’t happened with anyone else o.O
Reblogs being cut off is a pretty normal thing, I think. The problem is that Tumblr wants to make it a link post when it should be a text post because it's a big bag of dicks and can't do anything the easy way. You can fix it by turning it back into a text post.
On the other hand, if it's just happening with me I think that's kinda weird. Hmm. *Squints* I'm curious.

This happens to me too - every time I try to post about SOMEONE the post disappears or my computer shuts down completely.
Exactly! At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but this is kinda getting ridiculous. Do you think they're trying to tell us something? You know, other than "Be Quiet."

deepwoodsteaparty thanks for following me!!Â
I loved your "about me", it's really a beautiful writing, I felt a deep longing for those amazing experiences that you must live everyday, the work, the hose, the land, and the connection with mother Gea. I long for it, I live in the middle of a family that doesn't get anything, in the middle of a horrible city, that's in the top of a dying country that once was a magical land, filed with blessings and love, where anything could grow, but the rulers only planted hate and need for power.Â
I thank you again, if you wish to talk, I'm always here.

I would like a selection from Gravity’s Rainbow plez, with no specific question.
I ended up with a passage that I'd forgotten how much I love... :DÂ
I bolded the part that originally stuck out at my hand and my eyes, but I included the whole paragraph here.
In the last third of his life, there came over Laszlo Jamf -- so it seemed to those who from out in the wood lecture halls watched his eyelids slowly granulate, spots and wrinkles grow across his image, disintegrating it toward old age -- a hostility, a strangely personal hatred, for the covalent bond. A conviction that, for synthetics to have a future at all, the bond must be improved on -- some students even read "transcended." That something so mutable, so soft, as a sharing of electrons by atoms of carbon should lie at the core of life, his life, struck Jamf as a cosmic humiliation. Sharing? How much stronger, how everlasting was the ionic bond -- where electrons are not shared, but captured. Seized! and held! polarized plus and minus, these atoms, no ambiguities . . . how he came to love that clarity: how stable it was, such mineral stubbornness!
-- Gravity's Rainbow, Thomas Pynchon, page 587.
Thanks! Gosh I love this book.

How far do you think magic can reach? as in, how much can it affect things outside of yourself? (your personal opinion/experience of course)
This is actually a question I've asked myself numerous times and it's still painfully difficult for me to answer with any amount of certainty.
I think magic has the potential to do some downright miraculous things, I really do. But I think there must be a whole slue of different circumstances that can vary from person to person, working to working, etc.
If I were to boil these various circumstances down to a bare-bones list, it would probably look something like this:
Experience (how long you've been studying and practicing)
Energy/Emotion (as, in my experience, at least, both can play a huge part in the outcome of any working)
Spell/Ritual Components (are you using the 'right' tools for the job--although this one can be pretty subjective, depending on who you talk to)
Is their tons of prep work involved or is it on the fly by the seat of your pants (one may work better for you than the other)
And there's probably loads more I've failed to list.
TL;DR: I think magic has the potential to affect almost anything. But that doesn't mean it's absolutely going to, because of the number of variables involved.
Thanks for the question!
EDIT: FOCUS! I forgot to add focus! Haha I knew I'd miss a few.
