Hi love! This turned into a ramble, I am so sorry. 😂
I would definitely say being a yandere writer is not what it's cracked up to be. I'd like to think that I do my very best with the work that I write. I make it clear that my stories do not reflect my morals and that I do not think the members would ever do anything like what I write. Honestly, they are more like face claims than anything else. I get an idea for a fic and a characterization and then I pick the member I think would suit the role the best.
It's a way of blending my interests.
I try my best to write fics where the behavior is not romanticized (...unlike Colleen Hoover whom I have a few bones to pick with👀)
Nonetheless, there will be people who skip past the warnings and have a problem with it. Their feelings are valid, but at the same time, you don't walk past a "do not trespass" sign and then get surprised when the cops show up.
I personally think we as humans are intrigued by what we don't understand - especially behaviors from other humans who act outside of the norm and that's what I like to explore with my works. I like to understand behavior and the psychology of characters - that's all.
Something important that I've learned from my own counselor and from my four years into my degree is that we cannot control how other people react, but we can choose how we do. That degree of separation is definitely helpful in this genre 😅 That being said, I am human and my feelings can be hurt, that's true for everyone!
Basically, the point of this ramble was to say I knew what I was getting into when I started my blog. For now, I am here and I plan to be for a good long while until it becomes too much lol. We'll see how long that is for! Hm, maybe for as long as BTS are around 😂
But, I do know that you guys appreciate me and I appreciate every single ask, like, reblog, and comment. You guys really reignited my love for writing that I thought had died a long time ago so really, I will always be grateful for all of you.
