Here are the better and improved sketches ! 

Changed up but mostly cleaned up the previous sketch, added some more subheaders. At first my idea was to add all the works on the homepage, but I realized it would be too messy and too unorganized, so I decided to organize it a bit. 

I honestly really like this design. It’s very neat, kind of colorful but not too harsh or distracting. I’m not sure about the works pages however, they look kind of empty and messy, and it doesn’t feel the same as the home pages, but I guess I’ll clean that up too if I get a better idea. I’m also thinking about what I will do with works that are only text-based, because I have a feeling it’ll be too empty that way. 

For this assignment, I had to develop a working CMS system that I could use as a portfolio. Sadly, I’m not yet finished by the deadline. This is the first sketch I made of how I want it to look like. I tried to make this in html and css, it’s not on the server but you can download the code here.
