In 1971, two french musicians, Ilous and Decuyper, made an album almost on their own, squatting the Vogue studios during the night and whenever they were available, using skilled musicians whenever they could, building patiently their sound to finally create what they had in mind. The result was this mysterious and amazing album, full of intricate vocal parts, inventive arrangements, beautiful melodies with surprising naïve lyrics filled with spirituality, such as this irresistibly weird and charming L'élu (the chosen one). The record was reissued in a vinyl edition by Wah-wah records in 2011.Â
