Recruitment season starts again for the PhD Programme - Upcoming Events in 2013
We have recently concluded our admissions for the 2013 intake, and evaluation and selection by the various committees are still in progress. While we are nearing the final stages of admissions, before the final decisions are communicated in late-March (latest by early April), the PhD Recruitment and Admissions Office is now gearing up for recruitment events in 2013 for the September 2014 intake.
To kick off this year's recruitment activities, Professor Timothy Van Zandt will be visiting Bogota, Colombia on 4th of March 2013 (Monday) for a PhD Information Session, "Business Academia might be the Right Path for You".
04th March 2013, Monday
18:00-20:00
COLFUTURO
Carrera 15, No 37-15, Bogota, Colombia
In this information session, open to students from all disciplines, Professor Timothy Van Zandt will discuss doctoral studies and subsequent careers in business academia. Business school research draws upon the fundamental disciplines and is quite technical, and business schools' doctoral students come from the fundamental disciplines such as economics, psychology, engineering, sociology, mathematics, and computer science (and others). However, the research and teaching is interdisciplinary and applied, making business academia an interesting alternative. Furthermore, the job opportunities are strong. Timothy Van Zandt is Professor of Economics and Academic Director of the PhD Programme at INSEAD, with campuses in France and Singapore.
This is open to all students and potential applicants from ALL disciplines. Appreciate if you could send us an email for your registration.
