Alright, another "thank you" is in order - to the new owners of this painting! . This wonderful couple who visited today weren't able to make it to yesterday's show, so I set up a private viewing for them for the piece today. . As a part of the exchange, I did agree to let this be an exclusive piece, so I won't be making any prints of this one in the future. Hello friends! I'm trying something new tomorrow at my Deception Pass event: for every $50 spent at my booth, you will earn a chance to win this 16"×20" painting of Deception Pass. It's my way of celebrating this venue and thanking all of you for your support and enthusiasm for my work. . This painting was one of my very first paintings of the bridge, painted on request as a commission but it didn't quite match the vision of its commissioner. I, however, loved all the bright colors and have found in hindsight that this painting was one of a couple of works that lead the way into my use of many bright and varied colors. So it's a landmark piece in my œuvre.
