I think it ‘s quite fitting to finish the Decepticon Crypt fic today. Even if it is a year late, but at least it is well timed. :-)

I was totally inspired by the Decepticrypt challenge and started writing immediately. I wanted more a mood and feelings than actual actions, so it won’t be an action-packed story, but I hope it is still interesting enough.
Mystery characters, an abandoned tomb, ominously swirling mist... and maybe a ghost or two... who needs more than that? :-)
Tales from the Decepticrypt
AÂ Transformers Halloween Fic Challenge!
The Decepti-what? The DeceptiCrypt, my friends. This is the place where fallen Decepticons find their final resting place. It is a cavernous, dimly lit chamber located below the surface of Cybertron. Those who foolishly blunder within will find themselves pinned by the eerie gazes of countless statues of the deceased, and it's common knowledge that they don't like having their markers disturbed! So sinister is the Crypt's reputation that even the Sweeps know better than to go in there (unless ordered by Cyclonus), and, oh yes--it's most definitely haunted. Sound like your kind of place...? Then enter if you dare, the...

I'm looking for stories set in and around the Decepticon Crypt. (Stories that feature the Autobot Crypt may also be considered.) Ghostly!Starscream is obviously implied (and definitely welcome), but is by no means necessary. In fact, your story doesn't need to include ghosts or supernatural elements at all. You can focus on any character(s) you like, and your story can be of any genre, from horror to humor, and all points in between. All I ask is that the Crypt remain recognizable as the one we saw on the show. For information on the Crypt, and the episode in which it appeared, check out these helpful links:

Need a prompt? Here are a few ideas to get you started:
How do Decepticons honor, or mourn their dead?
Who, historically speaking, is "allowed" to be buried there? Is it just for well known or high-ranking Decepticons, or could anyone join the party?
Why doesn't Megatron seem to have a marker? Why isn't Skywarp's marker right next to Thundercracker's, where it belongs? Why is Starscream's statue just his legs? Inquiring minds want to know.
What ghosts (besides Starscream) might frequent the Crypt? How do they while away their time, and what might they do for fun?
With Cybertron having fallen under Autobot control at the end of the Great War, what allowances do the Autobots make (if any) for their now-exiled foes to bury, or visit, their dead?
What if your friends dared you to spend the night in there? And locked you inside? (Maybe you should consider getting some new friends?)
Do young lovers ever sneak in there for some "alone" time? (What about solo, "self service" time?) And what if they were caught in the act... by the living, or the dead?
Don't feel you have to use any of those; they're just a few ideas to fire up your Muse. I've purposely made this challenge really open-ended, so have fun!
