He finds it odd to find the older in such a relaxed state as he sits inside the makeshift cell he’d been made.  It was comfortable, as far as he could tell anyway and he thinks he would enjoy being in it if he were to break the law instead of enforce it.  However the other didn’t seem to impressed with the setting he was in.  He knew there was a rather large chance he could just walk out of the cell since it wasn’t the sturdiest but he’s on guard and ready.  Oh he is ready.  “ I tried to make it comfortable.  Do you like it? “  

{☆} “I do not TRUST you, son of Odin. I know what you are--I’ve seen what you can DO.” Gamora hissed, narrowing her eyes--the skin around her eyes seeming more YELLOW the longer she conversed with the God of MISCHIEF. Hadn’t she seen him with Thanos? 

Of course she had. Every MEMORY of the Mad Titan was burned into her brain forever.

Godslayer extended by her side, she glared at the man, gaze flickering to the Avengers and Guardians all seemingly MINGLING successfully. Leaning in close, the ASSASSIN’S lips close to his ear. “You may get away with misleading your BROTHER, but if you try and BETRAY me? I will happily spill your WEASLEY guts all over Terra.” She warned.

One would think that after so many years of doing this, Tony would’ve gotten used to the taste of blood in his mouth. But that wasn’t the case. The strong, coppery taste still sat bitterly in his mouth as he blinked his eyes open to an unfamiliar ceiling, head spinning and body in pain. 

He forced himself to stand, hearing several metallic clangs of his armor as he did. Destroyed, completely, save for one gauntlet still attached to his arm and functioning via the reactor in his chest. The room spun as he stood, so he ended up thumping against the wall as he fought to get his barrings.

   “i have always thought of myself as a far and just king.” that was one way of putting it. “I wonder how everything went so wrong.”

{☆} Out of all the people she had expected to SURVIVE, she could honestly admit that Loki was not one of them. Hadn’t she overheard Thanos warn that he would FIND him in any cosmic crevice the MISCHIEVOUS one hid out in? Then again--she supposed she had heard him state that he would be VICTORIOUS in the war.

Gamora supposed that didn’t turn out the way he intended either.

With the Milano repaired and the Guardians (those who were left) physically repaired, they were packing to depart from Terra. With a hefty bag slung over her shoulders, she met Loki’s eyes and tilted her head, stepping away from her family to speak with him before they left. She had misjudged him. Those ominous and VIOLENT threats at his betrayal were unnecessary in the end, so she nodded at him, regarding him RESPECTFULLY.

“What will you do now?” She quizzed, her voice still hoarse, throat still sore despite the near month of reprieve following Thanos’ defeat. She hadn’t been particularly vocal following the funerals for their fallen, and the nightmares which plagued her before were now more frequent, yanking her from what little sleep she was able to apprehend. 

Peter and Rocket grunted behind her as they continued to load their ship up with “SOUVENIRS” from Terra. She had a sneaking suspicion that she needed to make sure they hadn’t packed Parker on accident.
