Digging more into Unit 542-9-82 lore We have a snippet of when she was being developed. by this point she’d already been removed from rotation as a combat unit because of her controllable nature and her willingness to kill Researchers and guards alike. her abilities however where t valuable to just dispose of her so for a time she was used to dispose of other defective units, this gave them an opportunity to se how far she could be pushed and the limits of her powers with out losing valuable material. She wasn’t as stupid as they though however and attacked the glass of the observation booth more then once ready to kill the ones inside.
