Iâm going to kinda cop out here but only because I really really love @decadeanceâs  answer to this question. but other than that, itâs really like any other genre/aesthetic, it is what you make of it. (also check out @decadeanceâs ref list because otherâs have great (and varying) ideas on what DA is [like this] )
I think you might be talking about this response where I was replying to how dark academia can favor the classics over other studies and this can carry some inherently bad notions. I totally agree and think that this can also happen with philosophy.
