Here the promised post... A flashback to NYC, June 1994. I was in the Big Apple to enjoy the sights and it just happened to be a very busy weekend. One side job I had to accomplish was to pick up some Debbie Harry merchandise for Canadian fans. This included a small stack of the fanzine 'Fan Mail' expertly put together by Barry L Kramer and a small batch of the 'Producer's Cut' of her then current release, 'Debravation'. Barry had suggested I drop by @christein place to make the pick up. On a payphone uptown talking to Barry on how to get there, I was confused, lol! He put Chris on and he explained the route in a way I somehow was able to comprehend... The next thing you know I am a Chris' place. He was really cool with me looking around 🙃 One of the places I visited was the basement... In the not too distant past, there had been a flood in the basement and lots of valuable goodies were destroyed 😥 I happened upon something I recognized from the video for 'Backfired'; Debbie's first solo LP single. If you are familiar with it, Giger appears next to a sarcophagus of Debbie that magically breaks apart at the songs opening. Well, I found a few pieces of said prop and reunited them on the floor. This is what you see in today's post. 2nd slide is me carrying a piece across the room.
