What's the truth?

Being a very strong chested, argumentative kiddo it has always been difficult to everyone around me to make me shut up with just anything. Pray for I don't hit on a "why" or else you have to give to a legitimate answer that would seem plausible enough to me, even if it meant for you using up every drop of your brain fluids and going dry. And if I did not, then one watch me be stuck on that topic for days, if not months until I found the legitimate answer myself. That's not the end of it. You would have to watch and listen me blabber and feed you with my 'newly' gained knowledge constantly for a week at the least. Yeah, in one word, I would (and other too) would label me as an annoying, nerdy brat. And this would what make me a go to choice for debates, whether casual or professional. And yesterday too was one of those days when I had willingly gotten myself into a casual healthy debate with my mates. Topic : God and The Universe Not that we prepared and chose that topic, it just got entangled in our conversations. I'm a atheist, believing in neither ghosts nor God. And I found one of my mate who supported me in my belief. So unintentionally we got split into 2-2. As an atheist, it was beyond my understanding limits how can anyone still believe even in today's world that Universe was created by God and not Big Bang explosion. Big Bang isn't just theory, it is the most widely accepted and the most accurate theory proposed regarding the multiverse creation. Sure science has left a lot of space for new discoveries to be unfurled regarding the mysteries of the multiverse, but until then is it plausible to accolade that God created those voids? I don't know but it seems a little too baseless. Might sound offensive, but if in this era and century an educated individual still chooses to accept an unproven theory with no compact explanation over a universally accepted and proven hypothesis, then it seems that they wish to stay ignorant on the topic purposely for some reason maybe.
This was just a friendly casual debate which ended on a good note among all of us. And again, this was all just my personal opinion, so if you don't like, feel free to ignore. I'm more than willing to know more and understand the theories of God and his creation and contribution in the universe so enlighten me with your opinions in the comments!
