Death Note: Misa using the fact that L said he had feelings for her to try and make Light both jealous/work for it. They obviously find that *oh wow* gay stuff is… kinda fun? 🤣

Death Note: AU where Misa is dating a fancy politician (Light) and their marriage is starting to sour. She tries to use the affection of a messy black haired man (L) to make Light jealous, but it seems the interest wasn’t quite what she thought it was before. Light comes home early and Misa tries to play it off as if they’d been caught in the thick of it. ‘Prove your devotion to me by proving you would do anything. Kiss this handsome dishevelled man!’

Miraculous Ladybug: Marinette can’t decide which man she likes most. She decides to try and use spin the bottle to help her determine her feelings. Instead, Luka and Adrien find their own feelings.

I feel like there’s some good shared trauma/bullying opportunities here too, but that got too dark too quickly 😅

Ok, so I know the ✨soulmates✨ thing has been done a million times. But I love it, so here’s my idea of L and Light figuring out their soulmates.

The concept:

It is nearly impossible to find your soulmate, so most people assume they won’t find theirs within their lifetime.

The rules:

All it takes is a handshake or a brush against the other’s wrist.

The markings will only be visible to your soulmate.

The markings will only reveal themselves once both ‘mates’ are of age.

The skeleton of the scene:

L connects the handcuff to Light’s wrist. They share a moment of exasperated hatred as their marks burn into their wrist.

Hello beautiful people!!! After my hibernation, I have started cataloguing my own favorites and each fanfiction suggestion from other Tumblr users.

(I have put my current 'Bible' of fanfics at the bottom of this post)

Since I have not had time to start organizing into tropes, AU, etc. I thought the best poll to start would be to ask what you guys think is the best way to kick it off? Should we start with short-fics or long-fics?

And I’m not exaggerating. I mean, I had a full break down and I put on filters to get it down to 40 pages, and read nearly every single fanfiction in those 40 pages.

So I was super prepped for the Death Note poll that I had going on. EXCEPT for the fact that:

I have no recollection of basically any of them, even though they were heaven incarnate

I only made 2 bookmarks out of the shitpile of ones I read

I can’t even remember the damn filters I used to get the same sample 😭😭😭

Basically, I made my life as difficult as possible.

And then fear that with more time elapsed you should be publishing a perfect chapter and you’ll never be able to live up to it?

And then you write a post on Tumblr because you’re being haunted by a few sheets of paper?

My thoughts while on shift:

Shit new table… Would writing about the Omegaverse be too much? Am I ready for that step? Yes sir, here’s your water. Why can I picture L so vividly as a bartender? Oh yes, how would I want to make the Omegaverse work for them, though? Both DeathNote and Omegaverse are often painted as non-consensual and I don’t particularly want to do that. Here’s your bill! Oh shit, remember to grab that ranch! I like the idea of loss and building it into Light’s character… but how much would that change his fundamental character core? That is a beautiful ass cocktail. Good job bartender. Oooh what if Beyond and L were twins? And Beyond and Light found themselves in a bad circumstance that neither blamed each other for?! Ooh… there’s possibility there. Hello! What can I get started for you guys? *Realizes I forgot to take the payment for the first bill, proceed to sprint after taking the food order* Maybe I should focus on the several chapters and outlines I have drafted to go up already? Here’s the debit machine, ma’am. Or, or what if I didn’t do that, and kept writing short stories to distract myself? I seriously am becoming that meme of overloaded WIPs everyday… RANCH!
