Sun!Lars and Moon!Damien. Moon!Damien watches from afar, never intruding on Sun!Lars' space or making him uncomfortable. Well, Sun!Lars gets infected with the astrophage and dies. In his final moments, Moon!Damien approaches and talks to him, giving him comfort in his final moments. Now, with his star gone, Moon!Damien just sits at Sun!Lars' resting place and slowly corrupts into Blood Moon!Dark, becoming AT-5. He's kinda just given up all caring and has become numb with apathy, but he secretly hopes that Simon or at least a convict makes it out alive. He doesn’t want to be known as a place of execution. He's kinda just chilling while silently mourning both his star and the convicts who were sent down, not knowing that this would be their final resting place. He's somewhat aware of the blood (especially the blood of the convicts) but kinda just tries to block it out because it can feel very weird (inspired by the fact that i can sometimes viscerally feel the blood pumping through me or my veins snaking through my body).

Kurt does the summoning, Margo telling him it's a bad, idiotic idea but Kurt didn't care. And he successfully summoned Dark, who was pissed at being summoned, but agrees to help since that's what's written in the contract or something idk

He was only just gonna join Lars for a day and then leave, but Lars intrigued him and enjoyed his company and such so he started visiting the man every single day

dark initially did NOT want to help them until lars mafe it back home and was all scared and panicked and adorable but also still really kind and dark is just "👀 you know what fine"

I think that dark only really glitches when hes really angry/sad/any other emotion. when hes just chilling, hes a bit more like a cryptid or just something a bit wrong, like he gives off red vibes and blue the next, always pulling at your little uncanny valley sensors just enough for you to feel uneasy

but he doesn't really glitch. not when he's chill

damien on the other hand, is just your average Mayor. he quite literally CAN'T glitch. when he does, it's cause darks pushing for control, and damien's trying to resist (or something of the sort)

Lars does worry, but he's not really scared. he was at first, but he was more worried about Damien because he looked like he was in a lot of pain (he wasn't, but you try glitching like your getting ripped apart from the inside and not wanna curl on yourself a little). that was also the first time he met dark, and he could instantly tell the difference

This isn’t the official art but I lowk got impatient. ALSO ILL MAKE SURE TO USE OTHER CHARACTERS FROM LARS AND THE REAL GIRL IN LATER CHAPTERS TRUST.

yk, me and my friend came up with this a little bit ago and im seeing more people draw it and it makes me so joyous that people had the same idea...
