“as long as i can have a room for myself and there are no rats running around, i’m fine with it.”
“i think my brother has a spare room. he’s in college now but no one really wants to live with him cause.. you know.”
“what?! taehyungie is in college now? my god, i am getting old…” you were over exaggerating a little here, considering that minji’s brother was only two years younger than you.
“and he has no roommates? that’s mean!” though it wasn’t that surprising. taehyung, even from a very young age, was… special. he didn’t like to be around other kids, always spent his time alone, discovering his surroundings and playing with non-human but living creatures. while his peers were playing catch, learning how to ride a bike or just simply fighting with each other, he spent his days solving math problems, doing science experiments and studying every living thing he found around the house. in a non-violent way, of course. your other friends found him weird but not you. you found him endearing. always lost in his own complex world, never bothered by the outside one.
