So, after traveling to Colorado to visit dear-evergreen twice in the past 2 months, I finally convinced her to come see me in North Carolina. We drove a few hours east to my hometown of Wilmington on Thursday evening, and I took her to see my secret spot on a local beach. People come here to write love letters, ask advice, or just put their random thoughts onto paper, all of which is kept in a small mailbox hidden in the dunes. We came back the next morning to watch the sunrise before departing.

In case you guys haven’t noticed, I’m a tiny bit taken with dear-evergreen, and decided to fly out to Colorado again to see her this past week. Between long talks in coffee shops, exploring downtown denver, and buying a dangerous quantity of doughnuts, we managed to find time to adventure through Pike National Forest and into the outskirts of Colorado Springs, where we found this super rad waterfall. Oh, and I also saw a dog (notice my excitement in the fourth picture).
