Dean loves. He loves so deeply while he has been let down so much by the people supposed to love him back.
He loves without expecting love in return. And he loves intensely despite that constant running fear he feels in his gut to lose the people he loves. He loves with all he can despite having lost so many people he cared about, some even multiple times. Despite all the pain he feels when they're gone he is always able to love that intensely every time. His love is bigger than his fear.
And he would never think he could be loved with that love he gives to people around him. But it was without considering Cas. Then again, his deep love for the angel is what made Cas able to love as strong as him.
